Virginia Habitats II

Virginia Habitats II is a 194.07 acre Parcel of land that fronts State Route S.R. 614, northwest of the intersection between S.R. 614 and S.R. 5 in Charles City County, Virginia. The property is owned and operated as a subsidiary of Earth Source Solutions. Included in original 194.07 acres of property are 94.67 acres of jurisdictional wetlands and 5,676 linear feet of jurisdictional waters. Prior restoration, Virginia Habitats IIĀ  consisted of previously clear-cut silvicultural and agricultural land, existing woodland and wetlands. The prior property uses left the native habitat in disrepair. Thus leaving the land ripe for restoration. In 2001 Earth Source Solutions went to work on the creation, restoration, and preservation of wetlands, waters and upland buffers throughout the property. The final result was a natuarlized habitat that was representative of the region.
